Rest In God Alone

From Dad:

I am spending most of my time resting in bed. Getting up in the wheel chair is a break from being in bed.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about eternal things--wondering if my life has been significant and whether I am leaving an appropriate legacy that focuses on Christ.

It's good to know that I have His abiding presence and Psalm 62 has been good. "My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken." Psalm 62:1-2

James, Ranae Cody and I are enjoying time with dad and mom and the rest of the family. Our housing needs have been met and we thank everyone who offered us a place to stay. --Kristin

Hi Joel and Dottie,
Yes, Joel you have been an awesome man of God focusing on Him as long as I have known you. You will leave a wonderful legacy for your family, friends and others that you lived your life for Christ and shared Him with others. I read Psalm 62 today! I love that Psalm!! God bless you with His amazing love, peace and joy. Love, Terri and John
