MRI Change

For those of you hoping to hear this Wednesday about my MRI scheduled for today, we all are going to have to wait at least a week. When we went in for my MRI at Jefferson today, we found out that the doctor's office had failed to specify a creatinine level [see also] ]for the blood test I took two weeks ago. This checks on how well my liver is clearing out the gadolinium dye that used for imaging contrast. I had Jefferson redo the blood test while we in Philly and the MRI has been rescheduled for Jan. 12. We are still waiting to hear if our neurosurgeon can reschedule for Jan 14.

We are still hoping to have Jefferson (or someone) do an MRS (Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy). See Jan. 1 blog. It doesn't sound like this is something that insurance usually covers. Isn't waiting fun? If you haven't checked out Matthew 6:25 ff. recently here are the opening verses. Fortunately, God has not given us the authority to rearrange time, so we are going to have to live with in His timeline. There must be a reason.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

(Mat 6:25-27)
