New Year

I pray for all my family, church family, and blog readers a great new year as you grow closer to Him. Since, in Him we are a new creation, this new year is another opportunity for us to see Him in a new way. Stay in His Word to discover His greatness, understand more of His grace, be available for His use for whatever, wherever that may be. Enjoy His good work in and through your life.

Last night at our New Year's Eve service I shared how amazing it must have been for the disciples to reflect upon the fact that Jesus, the Son of God, washed their feet. Think of it. The Son of God, who was willing to leave the glories of heaven, live in a human body, washed their feet, and especially significant on the night before He was to be crucified. You and I are His foot-washing candidates. And if He was willing to do so from His position of glory and greatness, it should not be a problem for me to do likewise to whomever, wherever He leads. If He told His disciple to "go and do likewise," then you and I can count on opportunities to be presented for us to do likewise. This is God's will for us. Enjoy! Enjoy Him!

Pray for an upcoming MRI on Jan. 5 with review with neurosurgeon on Jan 7. We are also hoping that an MRS can be performed at the same time. To see the difference in the outcome from an MRS, check out this Wikipedia article.
