Dottie and I hope all of our Blog followers are enjoying this day of celebrating the birth of our Savior. What a difference He makes!!!
Today He seems to be gifting me with the gift of renewed and envigorating strength. We enjoyed a great Christmas Eve service at Southwood last night. It was wonderful to see so many that we haven't seen for awhile. Afterward we went to Ron and Lois Ross's where we saw some additional friends we haven't seen for a long time. We were there until about 10pm.
This morning I was up at about 6:30am, feeling great. I was able to walk over to the church office with good strength and back up the apartment steps with good vigor. I also did 10 deep knee bends on our rebounder and felt good afterward. For breakfast, I had a very good appetite for the first time in days. I cannot remember when I have felt this good. It feels good to feel good. Thank you to all who are partnering with us in prayer. But mostly praise to God who is orchestrating all of this. Today this is the best Christmas gift ever.
Our daughter, Kristin and family arrive this afternoon from Texas and we will all gather at Aaron and Kara's later. Wheat a joyous day!
(Luke 2:8-14) AAnd there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. {9} An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. {10} But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. {11} Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. {12} This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." {13} Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, {14} "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
