Progress

I woke up this am thinking it was Sunday. It is good to have a day off from medical appointments. In my visit yesterday to Dr. Oswaari, he could not detect any CMV (Cytomegalovirus) - great news! Yesterday, I was able to negotiate my way without any use of a wheel chair.
I have restarted my chemo pills (Temador) to coordinate with the Avastin. So far so significant side effects detected from my last Avastin infusion. It does seem that we are making progress. Thank you to all who are praying.

I have been given some thought to what makes the difference in a life of faithful pursuit of God. I know it is not any inherent greater quality in my life. Attribute it to the grace of God, the prayers of God's people. However, when you examine Romans 15:13, "May the God of hope fill you with great joy and peace as you trust in Him ..." The faith dimension does seem to play a role in synergy with God's divine ennoblement. I do not see myself as more faithful than anyone else. My consitent tiredness causes me cry out for help regularly because my low energy also impacts my motivation. I am grrateful for His ennoblement, Dottie's care, your prayers and anything else God is using to keep me going. Dottie is encouraged by my progress. Keep praying for her. She carries a big load.

Pastor Joel, glad you are holding your own. You are in my prayers! By the way, the new grandchild--boy or girl?
