Contemplation

Another post from Dad:

I am spending a lot of time contemplating what it will be like to enter into eternity and hear the Lord speak my name and what that will be like as well. It's very surreal to think that I'm about to see realistically what I've only contemplated by faith.

My dear brother,
You have stood with us in the precious moments when God's presence gave strength and comfort. We stand with you all.
1 John 3:2 Here and now we are the children of God. We don't know what we shall become, but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him for we shall see him as he is. (Phillips)
Psalm 17:15 And I - in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness. (NIV)

Joel and Dottie,
I'm getting caught up on your blog after missing some weeks. Dick and Sue Wahlstrom reported to our class about their visit with you both, and of course you are prayed for by members of our class all the time. We just want you to know that you both are a great witness to the love of Christ, and we are so proud of you! We wish things could be easier for you, but know that isn't always in God's plan. But we do know for sure that he is refining you both, and you will stand before him able to receive a crown of glory because you have let Him reach into your lives in this way. Please know that we are praying...and we love you from afar! Kraig and Jennifer Saks
