Reconnection with Hawaii

On Saturday, Dottie and I reconnected via phone with the pastor who married us. Dr. James R. Cook was the senior pastor at International Baptist Church in Honolulu, Hawaii and where I met Dottie. This man and his wife, Shirley have had immeasurable impact on both of our lives. He has been through the challenges of life and has always exalted the person of Christ in his life. It was great to hear their voices and rekindle some great memories of our beginning relationship and the time we had with them in Hawaii. Jim's story is told in his book, Under His Majesty's Command. Reconnecting with friends like this is always a great encouragement.
